The making of cigars through photos.

Tobacco leaves, the beginning of a cigar

rolling

They select leaves and press them together, flatten them if you will.

pressing the leaves before they start to roll a cigar.

The leaves are paper thin.

cutter

Doing it for years, they're so fast, its second nature.

Worker laying the leaves for the tip.  They use a glue that doesn't have any color or odors.  It's so precise that you can't tell where they start or where they finish.

The press

Cigar press.  If I remember correctly the cigars have to be turn every 30 minutes so the shape is consistent and there's no creases.

It was very interesting to watch how they do it and all the old techniques and tools

Ready to go in the room with the humidifier.  They later put the seal and wrap before boxing.

They look like hotdogs

Ready to be labeled and boxed
